Powering Paradise: FTVS on Death in Paradise (Season 15)
When production heads to a remote tropical location, reliable power isn’t a luxury it’s mission critical. For Death in Paradise Season 15, filmed on the beautiful but logistically challenging island of Guadeloupe, FTVS was proud to provide mobile power solutions that kept the production running smoothly from start to finish.
For this season, FTVS deployed a single set generator alongside our Unimog equipped with a 100kVA generator, delivering a flexible and dependable power setup ideally suited to a fast-moving, on location shoot. This combination allowed the production to respond quickly to changing requirements while maintaining consistent, stable power across set operations.
Filming on an island brings unique challenges limited infrastructure, demanding environments, and zero tolerance for downtime. Our Unimog’s off road capability, paired with the onboard 100kVA generator, ensured power could be delivered exactly where it was needed, even in harder to reach locations, while the set generator provided a solid backbone for day to day production demands.
Death in Paradise is known for its vibrant visuals, relaxed atmosphere, and high production values. Behind the scenes, that calm relies on meticulous technical planning.
